If you just got engaged, then congratulations! Not only is finding someone you love the most amazing thing, but it is also fun to celebrate your union with a wedding. Before you start freaking out by how many things there are to get done, this article will list some of the basic things that you should do first; that way, you get everything in line and you aren't too stressed about it all. Are you ready to learn more? If so, then read on.
1. Get a Budget
First things first, you need a budget. Who is going to be paying for the wedding? You? Your parents? Your in-laws? Once you establish who is going to be paying for it, then you need to see how much money you have to work with. Once you have a firm number, that's when you can really get started on the actual planning process. Remember that money goes quickly, so it's important that you allocate it wherever it needs to be.
2. Get Your Guest List Together
When you know how many people are coming to your wedding, you will know how big of a venue you will need, how much food you are going to have to serve, what lodging you are going to have to arrange for, and everything else. Make sure that you and your fiancé sit down together and lay out a guest list together of everyone who you want to be there. This is a really good jumping off point.
3. Find a Venue
The next thing you should do is find a venue. The best thing about finding a venue at the beginning of the process is that you will see what's included in the venue rental. For instance, some event venues have fine dining, tables, linens, flowers, servers, and everything else included in it. This means there won't be much left for you to do.
However, there are other venues that won't have anything included in it which will mean that you will have to find the other services on your own. If you find a venue that doesn't include these things, make sure that you aren't spending too much money on it because you will need money for some other things.
Having the perfect wedding requires a lot of planning and preparation on your end. If you want to learn more, consider hiring a wedding planner.Share

Hello, my name is Trinity Billings. I am crazy about throwing wild birthday parties for kids and adults alike. Everyone should have a birthday party thrown in their honor after another year passes by. When I was a young kid, my parents always made a big deal about my birthday despite a lack of funds or time. As I grew older, I slowly realized all of the effort they put into making me feel special. As a result, I vowed to return the favor whenever I could. Today, I always throw my parents a big bash by renting tents, tables, chairs and decorations from event coordination companies. I work closely with party planners to make every event as special as can be. I hope to update this site with ideas that will inspire others to do the same for their loved ones. Thank you for visiting.
